PERSONALITY PROFILE
To administer a Hire Success Personality Profile, all you need is to have purchased "Report Credits" from Hire Success or an Authorized Hire Success Dealer or Representative, and have received a "License Key" file. When you receive your License Key, a file named "license.key", store it in the same folder where the Hire Success System is installed, usually: "C:\Program Files\Hire Success\".
The Key will unlock one or more of the Personality Profile Forms. Choose the "Test Administration" menu Item, then "Personality Profile", like in the example above. The Test is currently available in 5 languages, and others will be added from time to time. Select the Language you wish to use. Immediately, the system will custom generate a Test Form in the language you chose and it will appear in your Internet Browser.
RECEIVING A BASELINE SUMMARY REPORT
NOTE: Beginning with Version 2.5 of the Hire Success software, choosing the Personality Profile in "English" will then trigger another choice to embed the CURRENTLY OPEN BASELINE into the Test Form. If you want to embed a different Baseline, open the Baseline you wish to embed BEFORE you create the Personality Profile Test Form. If the Baseline Information is embedded, each time you have someone take the test using this form, you will receive ALL of the normal Personality Profile Reports PLUS the "Baseline Summary Report". There is no extra cost for this option.
Simply fill in the form, or have an Employee or Applicant sit at the computer and fill out the form. When complete, press the "Submit" button at the bottom of the Test Form. If it is submitted successfully, you will see a "Thank You" screen confirming it was received by Hire Success' Online Service Bureau.
DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON AND KEEP RESUBMITTING THE TEST FORM. YOU WILL BE CHARGED ONE TEST CREDIT EACH TIME A FORM IS SUBMITTED AND SCORED.
The Form will be processed by the Hire Success Service Bureau and the report EMAILED to the person(s) authorized to receive the report. YOU WILL NOT SEE THE REPORT ON YOUR COMPUTER AFTER SUBMITTING THE FORM!
If you are not the person authorized to receive the Reports by email, please contact that person in your company if you have a need to see the Report information. If you are in a remote location, ask the person receiving the report to simply "forward" the email message with the Report "Attachments" to you at your email address.
APTITUDE TESTS
The same process may be used for the Hire Success Aptitude Tests. These consist of the following:
BASIC COMBINATION TEST: 40 Questions, 10 Each from Math, Spelling, Vocabulary and
Grammar.
COMPUTER COMBINATION TEST: 34 Questions in 5 topical areas: Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel, Microsoft Windows 95 and above operating System, General Computer Terminology and
General Internet Terminology.
MATH TEST - 30 General Math questions ranging from 4th to 14th Grade. Questions average
early High School level.
VOCABULARY TEST - 30 Questions covering common vocabulary mistakes made in business.
Questions range from 4th to 14th grade and average early High School level.
If your company has authorized one or more of these tests, selecting the test will bring the test form up in the Browser, just as described in the Personality Profile above. The test is NOT timed in any way and we recommend administering any of the Aptitude Tests in the presence of an employee or test proctor, to assure the person did not consult others, including using text messaging by cell phone, or online messaging to receive outside assistance in completing the test form. This is not an issue with the Personality Profile, as there are no "right" or "wrong" answers on the Personality Profile.
INTEGRITY SURVEY
The Integrity Survey consists of 112 Questions. Some are multiple choice, others include Free-form text answers. Note, this is a "Survey", NOT a "test". Before this Survey can be accessed, the Applicant will see a popup box telling them they must agree to tell the truth and they authorize the company to which they are applying to check and verify any of their responses. If any are found to be untrue, because this Survey is an extension of the Application, it could be considered grounds for termination. Applicant's honest answers on this Survey will assist interviewers in making more informed hiring decisions by gathering information in a fair and objective way, so different people aren't asked to supply different or more information than other applicants.
NOTE: If any test, or language, is not available to you on your system, and you believe you need access to the test form, CONTACT THE PERSON IN YOUR COMPANY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HIRE SUCCESS SYSTEM. This person has been provided with a "Manager's Key" for their system which allows they to CHANGE your License Key and lock or unlock any tests available in the system. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT HIRE SUCCESS OR YOUR DEALER TO CHANGE YOUR KEY.
