MENU: Choose the "File" Menu from the Main Menu, then "New Baseline DB".

SHORTCUT: Press the F7 Key at any time.


You may create as many new Baseline Files as you need.  Often, companies will create a new Baseline file for each new job or position in the company.  Then, when a vacancy becomes available, they already have the Baseline developed based on the "best" or most successful employees in that position who already exhibit the Personality Characteristics the company would want in new hires as well.

It is also a good idea to develop Baselines early, and before they are needed.  Top employees may quit to take another position elsewhere, or move out of town with a spouse, retire, or leave for many reasons.  Once they have turned in their notice and moved on, you won't be able to capture their Personality Profile easily to use them to build a Baseline to identify a replacement who may have similar Characteristics.

The "Description" you enter will be displayed at the top of each Baseline Summary Report, so make it like a "title" and meaningful.
