The Baseline Summary Report generated by the Hire Success Software takes advantage of "background" colors to highlight various data elements.  By default, Browsers (like Microsoft(r) Internet Explorer(r)) are typically not set to print this background information, and thus you will miss important features like Baseline Ranges, Confidence Factor spreads and the Baseline "Stoplight" information.

Additionally, the default Page Settings for most Browsers do not accommodate quite all of the data shown on the Baseline Summary Report and thus must be increased slightly in order to Print the full report on a single page without cutting off the last few lines and printing them on a second page.  The following steps should be taken to setup your Browser to properly print the Baseline Summary Report, as well as other forms and reports generated by the Hire Success System.

PAGE SETTINGS

From the "File" menu in your Browser (Microsoft(r) Internet Explorer(r) used in this example), choose "Page Setup..."  Next, you will see a dialog box popup like the one above.  Delete all of the text from the "Header" and "Footer" lines.  Change the "Top" margin to 0.25 inches.  The right and left margins should be no more than 0.50 inches, (0.25 provides maximum space if your printer permits).  The Bottom margin should be set between 0.40 and 0.50 inches or the minimum your printer permits.  This will allow the maximum area for Hire Success to generate the Report data on each page.

PRINTING BACKGROUND DATA

Select the "Tools" menu on your Browser, then "Internet Options".  See the menu excerpt above.  When you select this option, a popup dialog window will appear with a series of "tabs" across the top as shown below:

Select the "Advanced" tab on the far right side of the dialog window.  This is the location where many different settings can be made.  Scroll down until you see the section titled: "Printing".

Put a CHECK MARK in the box in front of "Print background colors and images".  (See illustration above.)

NOTE: ONCE SET, ANY PAGES YOU PRINT FROM THE INTERNET WILL ALSO PRINT THE BACKGROUND GRAPHICS AND COLORS, WHICH MAY, IN SOME CASES, USE MORE INK OR TONER IN YOUR COLOR PRINTER.  IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PRINT THE BACKGROUND IMAGES AND COLORS OF WEB PAGES, PLEASE BE SURE AND TURN OFF THIS FEATURE BEFORE PRINTING OTHER WEB PAGES, AND TURN IT BACK ON BEFORE PRINTING ANY HIRE SUCCESS REPORT(S).
