TUTORIAL: Print a Baseline Summary Report |
Previous Top Next |
To Print a Baseline Summary Report for an Applicant in the currently open "Campaign", Press the "Baseline Report" Button on the Baseline Tools Toolbar on the top right side of your main Hire Success screen. Alternately, you can also use the "Reports" menu, then choose "Create Baseline Summary Report".
Choose Applicant from Campaign Database:
If you would like an example of a Baseline Summary Report that is representative of one similar to the Baseline Profile, select any of the Applicant with the "A.B." initials. To see a Baseline very FAR from the Baseline Profile, select an applicant with the "D.C" initials. Feel free to create and view (or print) as many of the reports as you like. You will quickly see how easy it is to create a Baseline Summary Report for ANY Applicant in the open "Campaign" Database.
If you begin using the Hire Success System for each new Advertising or Recruitment Campaign, and develop solid Baseline Profiles for each of the key positions in your company, you will have a whole new set of tools at your fingertips designed to help you, the Business Owner, Manager, Recruiter or Human Resource Executive, to conduct more in-depth interviews and help put the odds in your favor of selecting the next great employee for your company or organization.
REVERSING REPORT VALUES
IMPORTANT: In a very small percent of the time, an Applicant or Employee may take the online test without reading the Instructions carefully. Instead of entering a "1" next to each adjective that describes them most of the time, they will enter a "5" instead. This tells the System the adjective is NOT them hardly at all. The result is a COMPLETELY INACCURATE REPORT.
The Hire Success System usually detects this situation by analyzing how the person answered the questions on the test. The test was designed so most people will normally answer with more "1" and "2" values than "4" and "5" values. This is reflected in the ID Code at the bottom right corner of a Baseline Report.
If the system detects more "4" and "5" values, it will print a Warning at the top of the Summary Report, like in the excerpt shown above. You can verify this by looking at the numbers in the ID code. In the example above, the "1239" is divided by color. The person answered 12 adjectives with the value of "1" and 39 with the value of "2". The center number, "24" represents the number of "3" responses, but those would be the same regardless of answering forward or backward. The final set, "214" in this example, is also separated by color. It indicates 21 responses with the value of "4" and four with the value of "5". The color separation is important otherwise you couldn't tell in those final number is it was 21 and 4 or 2 and 14.
Now, Reprint "Ron Reverso's" Standard Summary Report from the Campaign Archive and determine how many 1-5 values he answered on the Report. Also, note the Warning message at the top of each report.
REVERSING THE VALUES & REPRINTING THE REPORT: Go to the "Reports" Menu, then "Reverse Values - Create Bsl. Summary". This will Print a BASELINE SUMMARY REPORT with the Values Reversed as if he had answered as the instructions indicated. Note: There is no "warning" message at the top of the Report.
If you should encounter this Warning from time to time, use this tool to rectify the data and review the Report:
IMPORTANT: You should NEVER use Reports that have the Warning Message indicating Reversed Answers to Create a Baseline.
